The Starting Point

Xist4 is an independent IT recruitment consultancy based in Bristol. Founded over twelve years ago by Gozie Ezulike their aim is to help companies meet their business objectives by helping them find the right people to fill IT vacancies. Competition amongst IT recruitment companies is extremely high, with Bristol being no exception, having a prominent web presence has long been a key facet of Xist4’s marketing strategy -  designed to make them stand out from the crowd. 

Since Xist4 worked in the fast paced world of IT recruitment it was crucial that they were seen to embrace the use of technology in their marketing.  When Gozie wanted to respond to customer demand and ensure people could access his website via a mobile or tablet he naturally turned to ie, with whom he has had an ongoing marketing relationship for the past four years.

The Intelligent Approach

Before even starting on a new design for the website, ie felt it was important to take Xist4 through their Intelligent Marketing Process to understand the audience Xist4 needed to appeal to.  This vital process highlighted that the current website did not reflect the brand’s core values, nor did it truly communicate the extraordinary lengths that Xist4 routinely go to, to ensure that candidates match the full criteria of the job specification and suit the culture and personality of the business. 

The Results

As a result of our marketing process ie established a radically new brand identity for Xist4, designed to appeal to their client profile, but which encompassed the company’s values and objectives, making them stand out from the competition.  Since the recruitment business is a people focused industry ie developed a site with personality for Xist4 by including pictures of people and adding an important tagline ‘your IT recruitment partner’ which was extended across all their marketing.

Whilst most companies would in all likelihood research recruitment agencies from a desktop PC, ie felt that candidates may well start their initial research using their own device such as a smartphone or tablet.  For this reason one of the key recommendations to Xist4 was to develop a responsive website, one which automatically resizes according to the web enabled device it is viewed on. 

My experience of working with i.e. has been positive - I have felt valued as a customer. I am very happy with my new site and with its continued development.

Kentico is one of the most sophisticated CMS platforms on the market so we are very proud that a number of our websites have been selected by Kentico as their ‘Site of the Month’. The GX and Club Caribbee websites have both received this distinction, and more recently the Willow Chiropractic website was selected in January this year.
