The Starting point

David Vickery is a voice over artist and presenter, who has been a client with ie for the past five years. During this time, David has invested in marketing to help build his business by developing an online presence through his website, with the addition of email marketing to his many contacts.

Since David’s website is his main source of new business generation, maximising his online presence has been critical. Our marketing strategy, has been to regularly review the website’s performance to ensure David remains one step ahead of his competitors. To ensure the website remains engaging, we have regularly added content including news and case studies which demonstrate the work he does. 

The Intelligent Approach

Differentiating David from his competitors it is important; in advance of each project we always invest time reviewing competitor web intelligence and analyse the current traffic trends on David’s own website. Armed with this crucial intelligence we can recommend a range of activities.
 
Having built David’s first website before the explosion in smart phones, we noticed that more people were using a mobile phone to access David’s website.  At that time, few, if any, of his competitors had mobile friendly websites, so we designed and built a new a responsive website providing him an advantage over his competitors.

The Results

By working with David and developing key marketing priorities, within his budget, we have helped to position David as one of the key male voice over artists in Britain. Remaining vigilant and analysing his website analytics, helps us to make prudent recommendations for the next marketing initiative. Most recently this has resulted in an entire make over to his responsive website, revising the website’s navigation and refreshing the design of the website and David’s logo. Updating the website content helps keep David ahead of the competition, since most search engines regularly search for new content. 

We had tried marketing our services using several different companies however activity was not “joined up” and we were not seeing results. i.e. changed all that. They worked closely with us to refine our sales process and define our ideal target audiences allowing us to tailor our messages accordingly. Since rebranding and launching our new website we have seen a substantial increase in business.
