The Starting Point
GX is a product design, value engineering and system development company. Their clients cover a broad range of industry sectors, including lone inventors through to corporate clients.
Before partnering with ie, GX traded as four separate companies with little brand consistency. To bring more cohesion to their marketing and showcase the breadth of their services we designed a new website for them that brought together all their companies and services in one place and showcased examples of their work. Two years later we completed the transition to one cohesive offering, rebranding the company to GX.
The Intelligent Approach
In 2015 we undertook the Intelligent Marketing Process to find out more about each separate company and better understand the services they offered.
Initially each division had their own section on the company website but following the ie process we recommended bringing the four separate divisions together under one name, GX. This helped position the company as a full-service product design provider and showed off everything they could do as part of one, cohesive service.
The Results
Developing a website for the newly rebranded GX meant they could clearly communicate their multidisciplinary design process, showcasing everything the company does as a whole. Their new mobile friendly website highlighted GX’s holistic approach to product design by including the separate companies as services.
Since the site went live GX has seen a 20% increase in new site visitors, with people spending twice as long on site when they arrive.
To make sure the new website continued to deliver results we've worked with GX to update their content with new news stories, case studies and pages, optimising the content and actively driving traffic through PPC and social media campaigns.
With our latest marketing campaign we developed a corporate video, which we broke down into several short 15 second videos for social media, showcasing the unique design process and skills that the team at GX offer.
